"Study of the horn will take the student through periods of exasperation, elation, challenge, downright enslavement, and finally, fascination and deep love for a noble, thrilling instrument." -Phillip Farkas (The Art of French Horn Playing)

2011 Tri-II Steppes of Central Asia
These are some excerpts from the Dubuque Senior Orchestra's performance of "In the Steppes of Central Asia" by Borodin at the 2011 Tri-II mini-concert. The French horn solos are done by me, and English horn solos are performed by Jessica Larsen on Soprano saxophone, the clarinet soloist is Amanda Mosby, and the flute solo is by Lara Dohner.
Thank you to Don Stulken for the recording this performance, and the audio editing and video were done by yours' truly. Enjoy.
