Senior Recital - Part Four

The finale to the recital was our brass trio. We performed some fun transcriptions of Henry Purcell's suites for harpsichord. Our school is has been very fortunate to have a plethora of great brass players. From John Graas to a some DePaul graduates, Senior has seen very gifted performers pass through it's doors. Our trio, overall, is still very young. As you know, I only started horn last year, but also our trumpet player, who is still a junior, got started on trumpet his freshman year. Our trombone player, our is the youngest in the group, is only a sophomore but she started playing in 4th grade. Which means she's actually been the one playing her instrument the longest. We all met in drum corps when we were in Colt Cadets, and when we all got together in high school, we just kept hanging out and playing together.

Enjoy!
